AMICOMBE HILL-RING ROCK - Map reference SX.572.859. Resited Jan.08 - Box plugged between two small rocks 2p 20deg. from a 7’x 4’ embedded rock. Ring Rock 116deg. & approx. 120p away.

ANCIENT BOUNDARY WALK - No clue - Stamp & book available for all who complete this ancient boundary walk of 48 miles plus. The route follows the boundary of the Royal Forest as set out by King Henry IV in the year 1240.

BOURNES PIT-B'ROCK - Map reference SX.662.692. From BS walk down gully to where it splits - take the RH fork for 23p - box 3' up RH bank.

BROADALL-DENDLES WOOD RIP - Map reference SX.613.635. Box under flat embedded rock just above large cube rock between two trees overlooking subject. Gate 108°. HDC 172°.

CROWNHALL STREAM-KING TOAD, - Map reference SX.656.850. Box tucked between gorse & odd shaped boulder which has a triangular face when viewed from the S. Gate 157°. Thornworthy logan 85°.

CUT HILL - Map reference SX.597.829. From W of the two summit range notice boards (now recovered) walk 75p 330° then 69p exactly to a "dead end" (Cryptogram).

FUR TOR - NEW YEARS DAY - Map reference SX.587.831. Box sited for the day in the established site namely - Box in cave on W side of main outcrop of tor.

HORNET’S CASTLE - Box under the largest of two embedded rocks within a large gorse clump. Gate 330° & 30p away.

LANGCOMBE BROOK - Map reference SX.609.664. Sharpitor 313°. TV mast 343°.

LITTAFORD RIDGE-LYCH WAY - Map Reference SX.615.773. Box is stood behind an upright triangular embedded rock on W side of the unnamed outcrop between Longaford & Littaford Tors.

LYNCH TOR - Map reference SX.564.807. Box in small cave 30p W of ridge path midway between centre & N outcrops. Outcrops 49° & 161°.

NAKERS HILL - Map Reference SX.644.688. Box in natural hole low down on NE side of large mound. 'LAKE' S & 50p away. TV 313°. Redlake 177°. Top of Ryders Hill 84°.

PLYM-PILGRIM - Map reference SX.572.653. Resited with new stamp - Box under a 4’ flat embedded rock. LTT just visible 150.5°. Shadyback Tor 251deg. Top of Legis 340°. Two trees on bank 170° & 140°.

ROMAN ALTER - FP near subject 29°. Large copper beech 295deg. Nearest holly 210deg. & approx. 30p away. Box deep in natural hole at E end of a jumble of large rocks.

SWINCOMBE-RIVER, - Map reference SX.634.699. Box under a rock with a 3'x 1.5' flat face resting on another on bank. Between gateposts 326°. Mt.Misery cross 21°.

TAVY TORS - Map Reference SX.554.835. - From W side of most N outcrop go 22p 250°. Lone tree on hillside 122°. Trees in Deep Bottom 188°.

TIMELESS - Bridge 257.5deg. BS 270°. Barrow 177°. Box deep in natural hole 2p from the rim of reed filled hollow.

WALKHAM-RIVER, - Map reference SX.560.778. Highest hut on Gt.Mis Tor 163° . From 2p below site gap in Staple Tors 227° . Box in small cave around to left. Square boulder on E bank with two horrizontal splits 32.5° . & approx. 150p. Pointed rock above 325° . & 10p away.

WHITE TOR - Map reference SX.542.785. From W cairn on top of tor go 40p 208°. Box is under a large rock with an L' shaped split in it.

WISTMANS WOOD-I&C - Map reference SX.611.777 - Box in cave in & around to left under the base of an arched bough with a large clump of lichen on. S edge of N copse of Wood 10p. FP 245°. Lone tree SE & 27p away.

BRECON BEACONS - PEN'Y'FAN - Map reference SO.012.216. From the site of the old triangulation pillar go 150p S. (may be missing)

MILBURN FOREST - CROSS FELL - Map reference NY.684.344. From trig pillar go 170p 255° to small area of clitter. Pillpot is under a rock with stone in front 5p 300° from horizontal obvious isosceles triangle rock the tip of which points in direction of site.

SCOTLAND-ALLT COIRE AN T-SEILICH-MOST REMOTE-IK, - Map reference NN.946.854. From Geldie Lodge (in ruins) walk up burn S to split shown on map - from split go 150p S to obvious large heather mound - box plugged on very top under stone. Waterfall on distant mountain 11°. Clitter on near hills 130° & 200°.

INTERNATIONAL BOXES

SPAIN-MALLORCA-SOLLER-Es CORNADOR - 2.5° E/39.59° N. Box in a hole on W side of a 2’ wide crevice in rock outcrop below summit cairn which bears 127° & is approx. 30p away (from above site). Port of Soller lighthouse 307.5°. Radio pylons on skyline 225°.

MOROCCO - HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS - Mt.TOUBKAL - 7.93° W/31.06° N. Box in small cave 5p S of summit structure.

TURKEY - AKSARY - HASEN DAGI - 34.18° E/38.12° N. From summit flagpole walk 25p E to box in small hole above small rock-face. Inscription "MUHAMMET YETER" (in red paint) on rock is SE & 11p away. (pill pot)
