,TQ.191.088, OS Landranger Sheet 198. From GR TQ.1919.0880 walk downhill on bridleway opposite the pylon until you reach a gate across the path. From gate go 16p 126° to metal stake in the woods. Next go 10p 200° to a multi-trunked tree. Box hidden among the trunks.SUSSEX-WEST-SHOREHAM-SHELL TRAIL COWRY-JB,TQ.165.110, OS Landranger Sheet 198. From GR TQ.1652.1108 follow diagonal path in a SW direction until you reach a kissing gate with a short fence on each side of it. From the fence post at the S end of fence go 51p 160° to upright split trunk of fallen tree close to several fallen trees & near a fallen trunk covered in fungi. Next go 29p 114° to an upright tree with a fork about 5m up the trunk & two other trees crossing it. Now go 13p 204° to a fence post. From fence post walk 4p 340° to fallen tree. Box is under trunk near the root.
SUSSEX-WEST-SHOREHAM-SHELL TRAIL STARFISH-JB,TQ.239.076, OS Landranger Sheet 198. From gate at GR TQ.2395.0767 on Monarch’s Way by the NT sign for Southwick Hill go 148p along FP on 260° to clearing past hawthorns on path bend. Next go 22p 320° to a multi-trunked ash tree. Box is in trunks about 1m from ground.
SUSSEX-WEST-SHOREHAM-SHELL TRAIL SCALLOP-JB,TQ.211.0748, OS Landranger Sheet 198. From gate at GR TQ 2114.0748 with the letters SDCP on it go 114p along path on 320° to seat. Continue past the seat for a further 42p to a FP junction. Then go 12p along FP on 278°. Box is in ivy covered tree 2p 156° from path.
SUSSEX-WEST-SHOREHAM-SHELL TRAIL PERIWINKLE-JB,TQ.185.062, OS Landranger Sheet 198. From wooden sign for ‘Lancing Ring Local Nature Reserve’ at GR TQ.1853.0624 go 35p 200° to fence post next to a path. Then go 27p 256° to path on left passing orienteering post RX on the way. Follow path on 190° for 28p. Next go 7p on 100° to ivy clad tree. Box is hidden 2’ up the trunk.

All letterboxers are welcome to the Plymouth Get-together at the Woodland Fort Crownhill Road Honicknowle Plymouth, grid reference SX.470.593. The meet takes place every third Wednesday in the month, from 7:30pm onwards.
There is a new stamp to collect each month.
